Green Morning Smoothie

This is my go to smoothie all summer long! The days are longer and hotter which calls for the bigger mason jar!

Everything about this smoothie is cool, refreshing and satisfying! Most ingredients are frozen so it’s easy to whip it up to go before work or hitting the beach!

Start your day bright and right!

This recipe is from “Plant Over Processed” by Andrea Hannemann.

So here’s what’s in it!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup frozen pineapple

  • 2 frozen ripe bananas

  • 1 cup spinach

  • 1 cup almond milk

  • 2 teaspoons vanilla protein powder

  • 1 teaspoon spirulina

  • 2-3 ice cubes

Making the smoothie

Combine all the ingredients into the blender. Start on a medium setting working your way up to a higher speed. Pour into a glass and enjoy!
