This recipe is from COOKTORIA on Pinterest. I’ve slightly altered the recipe to make the perfect amount for one individual!
So here’s whats in it!
Toppings
Granola - Nature’s Path Pumpkin Seed + Flax
Fresh strawberries
1 banana
Coconut shreds
Local honey
Ingredients
1 cup frozen strawberries
1 cup frozen banana
1/3 cup vanilla yogurt
Making the Bowl
Place the bowl you plan on using into the freezer, that way it is nice and chilled when you’re ready to use it.
Prep your toppings before blending anything! Having everything out, sliced and ready to go beforehand will make it easier to top off your bowl so that you can eat it immediately!
Add the frozen strawberries, frozen banana and vanilla yogurt to a high powered blender.
Start the blender on a medium setting. If you are have difficulties blending, add a little more yogurt. Using a blender stick or wand, press the fruit down until it starts to combine more easily. You want it to be thick and creamy. Increase the speed slightly for 1 minute until all the ingredients are blended thoroughly.
As the blender is finishing up, grab the bowl out of the freezer and pour 1 cup of granola on the bottom. Add the mixture from the blender to the bowl and spread out evenly. Make sure to leave enough room for your toppings.
Add 1/2 cup granola to cover the mixture followed by fresh banana, strawberries, coconut shreds and local honey. Enjoy!
