I’m sure a lot of us are ready for that tropical destination where we can kick back, relax and enjoy a refreshing drink by the pool. This is the smoothie I envision! One sip and you’ll feel like your on vacation!

Papaya is one of the most beautiful fruits to cut into and grows incredibly fast! Take the seeds and plant them in your yard! Papaya trees needs full sun in tropical conditions which makes Hawaii an ideal place to grow them. In 6-12 months you can have fruit to pick and enjoy!

This recipe is from the “Smoothie Project” by Catherine McCord.

So here’s what’s in it!

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup frozen mango chunks

  • 1/2 cup frozen pineapple chunks

  • 1/4 cup peeled, seeded, chopped papaya

  • 1/4 cup frozen cauliflower florets

  • 1 tablespoon cashew butter or 5 raw cashews

  • 3/4 cup coconut milk (I used almond milk - tastes just as good)

  • 1 serving collagen peptide

Making the smoothie

Combine all the ingredients into the blender. Start on a medium setting working your way up to a higher speed. Pour into a glass and enjoy!

-Aloha
