Pure Gold Smoothie

This smoothie has become one of my new favorites in the morning! The sweetest of the mango paired with coconut water provide the ultimate hydration! When black pepper and turmeric are combined they enhance absorption and improve digestion! They’re also a nice little kick that will wake you up!

This recipe is from the “Smoothie Project” by Catherine McCord.

Here’s whats in it!


Ingredients

3/4 cup frozen mango chunks

1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder

1 pinch black pepper

1 tablespoon MCT oil

2 teaspoons fresh time juice

1 cup coconut water


Making the smoothie

Combine all the ingredients into the blender. Start on a medium setting working your way up to a higher speed. If you’d like your smoothie thicker, add more mango. Pour into a glass and sprinkle turmeric powder on top. Enjoy!
